A person reclined in warm light during a voice and sound meditation session

The instrument is a voice you already have.

A one-of-a-kind self-resonance experience.

NeuroChant is a sonic meditation experience that turns your own voice into a tool for nervous system regulation, emotional clarity, and expanded awareness. It blends vocal toning with SoundSelf's responsive light and sound technology, so as you hum, tone, or chant, your voice activates the visuals and frequencies around you.

You're not performing for anyone. You're humming, toning, or chanting into a system that listens and reflects what you give it, building a feedback loop designed to quiet the mind and open the heart.

The instrument is a voice you already have.

What toning does in the body.

Every session responds to your own voice. No two sound the same.

Right for you if you're…

Less ideal if: making sound out loud, even quietly, feels too exposing right now. NeuroChant asks you to hum, tone, or chant. If that idea makes you nervous, start with Stroboscopic Light or Sound Science instead, and revisit NeuroChant later.

What a session looks like.

You recline in a comfortable SomaBed, wear a haptic vest and high-fidelity headphones, and gently vocalize as the system responds to your unique tone. There's no right or wrong way to do it. Follow your breath and sound, and let the loop take it from there.

Before you book.

Do I need to be a singer or "good" at chanting?

No. NeuroChant isn't a performance. A hum, a tone, or a simple breath sound is enough. The system responds to what you offer, not to pitch or technique.

Will other people hear me?

Sessions happen in a private room with headphones, so it won't feel like you're performing for an audience.

What if I don't like the sound of my own voice?

That's common at first. Most people settle in within a few minutes once they realize it's a feedback loop, not a performance, and the light and sound are reflecting them back, not judging them.

How is this different from Stroboscopic Light or Sound Science?

NeuroChant is generative: your own voice is the input that shapes the session. Stroboscopic Light responds to a fixed light rhythm, and Sound Science channels curated audio, both received rather than generated by you.

Is it safe?

Generally problem-free. Consult a healthcare provider before booking if you have photosensitive epilepsy, glaucoma, recent eye surgery, a pacemaker, or are in your first trimester of pregnancy, since the session involves responsive light. Sound levels stay in a comfortable range throughout.

Layer it with light and sound.

NeuroChant stands on its own, and it also layers cleanly with the modalities that inspired it. Worth exploring:
